Methodology

No two women experience perimenopause or menopause the same way.

Not only do symptoms range from changes in blood flow and body temperature, to shifts in mood, sleep, cognitive clarity, and sexual health, but the ways in which each of these impact areas of your life differs between women. That is why Now For Women is built around a framework that is personal, structured, and rooted in science. Through our wellness assessment, we work out what areas of your life are most impacted by what you're experiencing, so we can prioritise the support you need through your Wellness Assessment and the wellness plan built around you.

Our Framework

Introducing our 5x5x5 Method

At the heart of our approach is a circular model with three interconnected layers, each one reflecting a different dimension of your experience.

The 5x5x5 Method diagram showing three interconnected layers: inner symptom areas, middle lifestyle pillars, and outer transformation journey

The Innermost Layer

The innermost layer maps the five key areas where symptoms tend to show up: Blood Flow (think hot flushes and night sweats), Physical, Sexual, Psychological and Cognitive. Rather than treating these in isolation, we look at how they interact in relation to your perimenopause and your lifestyle.

The Middle Layer

The middle layer represents the five lifestyle pillars through which real, lasting change happens: Body in Motion, Nutrition, Mind & Emotional Wellbeing, Sleep & Recovery, and Track & Discover. These are the areas we work within to support and strengthen your day-to-day life.

The Outer Layer

The outer layer describes your transformation journey through five phases: Understand, Reset, Stabilise, Shift and Thrive. Each phase builds on the last, guiding you from awareness through to lasting change at your own pace.

Together, these three layers create a personalised wellness pathway, one that meets you where you are and evolves with you every step of the way.

Your Programme, Calibrated to Your Capacity

We recognise that the severity of your symptoms is only part of the picture. What matters just as much is your realistic capacity to engage—the time you have available, your current energy levels, and any barriers you're navigating. That's why our algorithm doesn't just measure what you're experiencing; it measures what you can sustainably commit to.

Through our assessment, we calculate a Capacity Score that balances your symptom burden against your readiness, availability, and constraints. This ensures your personalised programme is matched to one of three Intensity Tiers:

  • Gentle Start (1-2 hours/week)
  • Moderate Engagement (3-4 hours/week)
  • Intensive Support (5+ hours/week)

You're supported without being overwhelmed. Even if your symptoms are significant, if your capacity is limited, we'll start you gently and build sustainably from there.

This isn't about doing more; it's about doing what's right for you, right now.

"Every woman deserves to navigate perimenopause with confidence, clarity and compassion."
