Why We Called Her Naomi — And Why the Name Matters More Than You Think

Naomi brand identity — NOW For Women to NOW ME to NAOMI

Names are rarely accidental in branding. Ours especially isn't.

NOW For Women. NOW ME. NAOMI.

Say it out loud and the shape of it becomes obvious: NOW For Women collapses down to NOW ME, and NOW ME becomes NAOMI. It's not a coincidence, and it's not decoration. It's the entire brand promise, encoded into four syllables.

The promise inside the name

Perimenopause is a stage of life where women are routinely told to wait — wait until symptoms are severe enough, wait until a GP has time, wait until there's a clear diagnostic marker (there often isn't one). NOW ME is the opposite instruction. It says: your experience counts now, not once it's been validated by someone else, not once it's escalated, not later.

Naomi is what that promise looks like as our AI — something built to meet you at "now," with your actual picture, rather than a generic timeline of what perimenopause is "supposed" to look like.

The Apple model, applied to women's health

There's a reason technology companies give their AI systems names rather than model numbers. A name signals a relationship, not a transaction. You don't "consult a language model" — you ask Siri. You don't "query an inference engine" — you talk to Alexa. Naming is how a company says: this isn't a tool you operate, it's something you interact with.

We've applied the same logic here, deliberately. Naomi isn't a feature inside the N4W platform. Naomi is the platform's intelligence — the thing that takes your Wellness Assessment, reasons across it, and gives you back something that's actually built around your picture, not a static content library.

Why this isn't just branding

It would be easy to dismiss a name as marketing gloss. But the naming decision reflects something real about how the product is built. Naomi was developed with scientific oversight specifically to reason across the dimensions of your perimenopause — sleep, mood, cognitive load, cycle changes — as a connected picture, not a checklist. The name is the accessible version of that architecture. It's how we make "algorithm developed with scientific oversight" feel like something you'd actually want to talk to.

What talking to Naomi actually looks like

In practice: you complete the Wellness Assessment, and Naomi uses that picture to generate guidance specific to you — not generic perimenopause content sorted by symptom, but something built around your particular combination. As you keep engaging, the picture gets more precise, because there's more of your data for Naomi to reason across.

That's NOW ME in practice — not a slogan, a mechanism.

Start with the Assessment

If you haven't met Naomi yet, the Wellness Assessment is where that starts. It's free, it takes a few minutes, and what comes back is the beginning of a picture built specifically for you — not a version of "for women" in general, but NOW ME.

A few minutes with Naomi is the start of a picture that's specifically yours — not a generic perimenopause profile, but the pattern showing up for you, right now.
